3.How to calculate?
Choose a value within the range of hearing loss. E.g.Select Moderate hearing Loss of a value 40dBThe peak gain value of your hearing aid is 35dBSubtract the value in step (2) from the value in step (1). It will be the smallest decibel value can be hear after using a hearing aid.
E.g.35dB-40dB=-5dB, Hearing Loss is normal, so the hearing aid is helpful for you.
